How is it that Greg Oden NEVER fouls out?
Seriously. He doesn't appear to me to play any differently at the end of the game than he does at the beginning, but strangely, he is never called for a foul down the stretch.

Maybe it's his brains. I was informed by an Ohio State fan at the bar last night that he has a 3.7 GPA and she promises that he will return to school next year. Vegas, anyone?

2. Oh, that's right
That was the foul that some thought should have been either flagrant or intentional, allowing Xavier the ball.

5. Sorry My Dear
I must say if one of my Razorbacks did that to another team I would be pissed. Wrong is wrong. I'll try to get your back in the future. Imagine a Hog supporting a Wolverine against a Nut!

7. He Does Foul Out
Edited on Fri Mar-23-07 04:42 PM by erpowers
He actually does foul out. He fouled out of the game against Xavier.

About his gpa; I am not trying to take anything away from him, but what classes is he taking? I read in an article about him that one of his classes was a music appreciation classes. I do not know of any of the other classes, but I would wonder if he is taking an easy course load. I do realize that some of these athletes are extremely smart. There was a girl on the basketball team where I went to college who maintained just about a near perfect 4.0 throughout college while majoring in engineering. I said just about near perfect in that I am not sure if she kept the 4.0 through graduation, but I know for the most part she had a 4.0.

10. Yep, I corrected that.
I've seen him in a few games where he was in foul trouble, though, and in most of them, they stopped blowing the whistle near the end (like last night).

9. Not according to the OSU fans sitting next to me yesterday
They also said that the class called "football" and taught by Jim Tressel, is actually not called "football". Except in the course catalogue I looked at last year, it was called "football".
