All bias aside, who wins the NCAA Tournament?
I'm sticking with Florida. Before anyone points out that they're my team, I'm just going to say that I honestly believe they are going to do it again. I think they're peaking at the right time, and they know how to win this. And I'll stand by my original prediction and say they beat Georgetown in a game that will be much closer than last year's championship.

All right, let's hear your thoughts!

2. Florida
I'll admit, I'm a big time Gators fan.

Like you, I had Florida v. Georgetown in my original bracket. Nothing has happened to change my mind. IMO, Florida is getting criticized for not running through the field like they did last year. But none of these teams have. OSU was in BIG trouble twice, and G'Town got a gift of a no-call in the last seconds of their game against Vandy.

This is a lot like last year's team. They started out strong, faltered in the late-stretch of the SEC schedule, but rebounded to win the conference tournament and take the national title.

Still, this Final 4 is a lot stronger than last year's. Not to disrespect George Mason, but they never had much of a shot against UF last year. Florida was just too deep and talented. But this year, I give all 4 teams a shot at winning it all. In the end, I still like the experience of the defending champion Florida Gators.

3. I Do Not Know I Guess Florida
Edited on Thu Mar-29-07 10:06 AM by erpowers
Florida has a good chance of winning it all, but I think Ohio State can win it all also. Like Florida, Ohio State seems to know how to win. I do realize that Ohio State was given a gift in the game against Xavier, but they seem to be able to make comebacks. I know what I am writing does not go with the title my post, but I am just pointing out that I think Ohio State can win it also. I give Florida the edge in that they are playing well now, they seem to know how to win, and they won it last year. Since they won it last year they might want to win it more than Ohio State. This may cause Florida to push harder toward the end in order to win. In addition, if Ohio State does beat Georgetown it would be harder to may a comeback against Florida than against some of the other teams they made comebacks against. I do not think the players on Florida's team, if they beat UClA and face Ohio State, will miss free throws at the end of the game.

4. If UCLA plays their best as they did against Kansas
they will be extremely tough to beat. Pretty powerful final four.

6. Ohio State...
...I said that right after they improbably beat Xavier, thinking that there was some sort of destiny working. They looked bad the next game, good in the Regional Final. I still think they'll do it--hate to see Florida repeat.
