More NBA Playoff Talk
I watched some of the Spurs-Suns game today and now I have a question about Tony Parker. What do people think about the play of Tony Parker? While I was watching the game I noticed that Parker ended the first half with only two assists. Even though Nash was having a bad night, Nash usually has a large amount of assist and today he had four by the end of the first half. So, Is Tony Parker passing the ball enough? I will admit I do not know how many assists he ended the night with. Also, maybe I am being too harsh on Parker for only having two assists by half time. However, I thought the point guard was supposed the be the main guy who passed the ball to everyone and the person who came away with a large amount of assists.

On another note how do people feel about the attention LeBron James is getting during this years playoffs. My main problem with the attention the sports media is giving James is that the sports media seems to be making out that James is the only person on the Cleveland team. Since the beginning of this series with the Nets the sports media, at least on ABC/ESPN, have been saying LeBron James vs. the Nets not the Cavs vs. the Nets. In addition, it seems that the main topic of the coversation during halftime reports is James. I did not watch the whole piece today, but it started out by talking mainly about James. This seems especially wrong to me in that other members of his team seem to be doing more for the team than James. So, do other think James is getting too much attention during this years playoffs?

1. Happened last year too
With "King James" I mean. I hate that kind of super-saturation of any individual player, from the omnipresent ad campaigns to the media hype you're talking about. The only bright side is that when they're pushing James, they aren't pushing Kobe :P

2. Last year in a pre-game for the Pistons/Cavs
the pregame was (I kid you not)about LeBron James' FINGERNAILS. They showed how he sometimes bit them before a game.

As a Pistons fan, I of course don't like how they rarely do pregame shows on our players (they would occasionally do one on Ben Wallace) but you know when they would rather discuss one of their chosen stars' fingernails over your own teams' great play, the NBA coverage has officially jumped the shark.
