Doug Mientkiewicz lies behind first base after a wide throw pulled him into the path of Mike Lowell, whose leg appeared to strike Mientkiewicz in the head. Two runs scored, and Mientkiewicz had to leave the game.

1. I saw that
I heard this morning he's day-to-day with a mild concussion. He took a good hit from Lowell's leg.

First Giambi and now Mienkiewicz. Yanks have a hole at first, no?
