The Charlotte Coliseum is going to get blowed up real good this weekend.

There is not a damn thing wrong with that stadium, what a waste. There was never an easier stadium to get in and out of. I saw a lot of games there, and once worked across the street for about a year. Since Shinn ruined that franchise I still don't have a favorite NBA team. F the bobcats and no/okc hornets! True story_ one of the last games I saw there, when Shinn was doing everything possible to alienate the fans so they could move, the Hornets gave away mardi gras beads, no shit!

1. We really hate history in this country, don't we. The Brits should knock down Albert Hall.

It has no luxury boxes.

There's always enough money for a new arena.

2. The Hornets and Heat entered the league in the same year

'89-90. Amazing both buildings are no longer used by the NBA, less than 20 years later. Miami Arena was replaced and sold. I don't even know what it's used for. I only saw the Charlotte Coliseum from the outside but this does seem to be a waste. I can't even picture the current arena but that honeycomb lane was distinct and memorable.
