Hey SEC Football fans
I was reading in my local paper the other day that since 2002, the Big Ten is 9-7 vs. the SEC in bowl games, including the great Michigan victory over Florida. So please don't tell me that the SEC is dominant compared to the Big Ten. I am not a huge fan of the Buckeyes, but I gotta say, GO OSU! For the honor and glory of the Big Ten.

1. Using your logic, Ohio State has a terrible football program.
They are 0-8 vs SEC teams in bowl games. A few bowl games don't determine who has the best conference. Ask the NFL scouts. They will tell you real quick that the SEC plays the best football, puts more players in the NFL, has more coaches who have won championships, and puts the most fans in the stands. The top 4-5 teams in the Big Ten are about equal to the SEC. It's the bottom feeders that drag down the Big Ten. Oh, and three SEC teams beat Florida this year, and Georgia beat the living crap out of 'em. Florida even gave up 37 points and almost 500 yards to Kentucky. The Gators play almost all freshmen and sophomores. They will be tough next year.

11. The Big Ten has only won 1 1/2 Championships since 1968....
Michigan won a split vote with Nebraska in '97 and Ohio won the one with the bogus, 4th down phantom pass interference call vs Miami U. in '02.

They both ought to have astericks applied, too.

And which was the last non Ohio, Michigan Big Ten team to even come close? Michigan Jr, with Bubba Smith in about 1965?

As opposed to........

1992 Bama
1996 Florida.... The 1st time ever a team played the #1 ranked schedule and won the Championship
1998 Tennessee
2003 LSU
2006 Florida, the 2nd time a team has won while playing the #1 ranking schedule
2007 LSU

That's 4 different teams winning 6 championships in the last 15 years

And remember, Auburn was jobbed out of getting a chance to play even though they were unbeaten in about '04.

6. Screw Ohio State.
Screw Michigan. Screw Wisconsin. As you can see I'm not a "gotta support your conference" guy.

7. OSU is now 0-9 in bowl games against SEC teams
"The loss left Ohio State at 0-9 overall in bowl games against teams from the Southeastern Conference. The SEC delights in whipping Big Ten teams in what's become a rivalry that steams up fans on both sides."

so, you know, there's that...

8. Shhhhh! Thats not nice..
I think its stretching things to say the SEC V the Big Ten is a rivalry. Rivalries mean things and match relatively equal combatants. Said rivarly is the ultimate mismatch. I do, however, as an SEC fan get steamed up with the NCAA rule that says a Big Ten teams always has to get a pass to the championship game. For no apparent reason.
