Why is the Giants Super Bowl Victory considered an upset?
- Because the pundits told us so?
- Because Patriot players huff and puff and show us that chip on their shoulder?
- Because we are led to believe that the AFC is better then the NFC? (pending further investigation of billichick chicanery, said claim might be incredibly moot and irrelevant even if Senator Specter is an Eagle Fan.)
- Because rules of right and wrong were adhered to on the field?

1. Because the pats were 18-0
That's why.

Either way, the better TEAM won.

That's what it's all about.

I really just down see New England or Brady ever recovering from this. This was like the Islanders taking down the juggernaught Penguins. Not to mention the 04 Red Sox taking down the Yankees.

It's going to take a long time before the Pats organization realized that this thing is busted up.

2. I agree with that
No game is an upset especially at the pro level

Yes the Pats are the better team (aging as it is) but not today

3. Because they're only the 2nd non-strike year 10-win team to win it all.
At least since the introduction of the 16-game regular season. The '88 49ers were the first.

4. Political Pundits and Sports Pundits don't know shit
You have to play the games. I knew, hell, everybody knew that if you pressured Brady, then the Giants would have a puncher's chance. And they had the best pass-rushing team all year, why wouldn't they do it in the biggest game of the year??? But you couldn't tell that to the know-it-all's....oh no.

I just hope the Giants fall back to earth a bit...my Eagles have to play them twice a year.
