You're damn right I hoped the Pat's wouldn't go undefeated.
I've sat by and read the whiny crybaby bullshit the last couple of days about the 72 Phins and their undefeated record. First off---before I get started..... I personally feel that the Pat's had one of the best if not the best seasons in the history of the game. 18 straight in one season... you'd have to be a fool not to think that---and if not for the head catch, they would have had the best season ever. So big props for the Pats and their season.

But shut the fuck up about the 72 Phins you little whiny titty babies.

OH----WAAAA THEY ROOTED AGAINST THE PATS!!!! WAAAAAA

OH ---WAAAAA THEY POP CHAMPAGNE AFTER THE LAST TEAM LOSES----WAAAAAA

OH THEY'RE GRUMPY----- WAAAAAAA

You fucking lying idiots. How many times has it got to be thrown in your stupid faces that it's a myth about the champagne. Oh but you keep repeating it because your daddy, the main stream media says to repeat it.... Hey guess what---Al Gore invented the fucking internet!!!!

I've read story after story with quotes from the 72 Phins giving big props to the Pat's of today----- oh but it goes against the meme that you fucking morons keep spouting--- WAAAAA they're unsportsmanlike--- How can they root for some team to lose!!!!! WAAAAAAAAA

Fuck you--- So fucking what that us Phin fans and former players hoped that the record would be preserved. It's funny though--- I didn't here much of this shit from Pats fans....just the bandwagoneers that hopped on to this forum the last month or so---and who will now try to sell their Pat's jersey on Ebay. No football knowledge fucking fools who wouldn't know a football if it was stuck up their ass!

You're God Damn right I wanted the Pats to lose---- if it was the fucking Bengals who were undefeated (note: that was a funny one) I'd root against them as well. This is our fucking record A-Holes.... That's right---- life long Phins fans who experienced that experience. AND I have great great happiness that none of you dolphin hating fuckers will ever know what it feels like to be fucking perfect!

PERFECTION!!!!!----SUCK ON IT!

1. Here's another way to look at it
If they had gone 19-0, we'd have heard about it from everybody for at least the next 10-20 years.

This way, its only you and your silly obsession for this season, both of which are at an merciful end.

I hope.
:P

2. Dude--- my team was 1-15
and I had a silly obsession? But then again---what's worse---being 1-15 or flaming out in the first playoff game to a wild card winner? :P

4. Much love to you trumad. I am a Bears fan and while I would
never root for somebody to lose (unless I needed 'em to for my team to make the playoffs or something), it is your right. Go Bears and good luck to your Phins next year. Peace.

5. Players from That Era Never Made Big Money
Edited on Tue Feb-05-08 01:03 AM by Yavin4
So, who can blame them for using their unique accomplishment to earn a little cash. Lord knows that the NFL treats its older vets like yesterday's garbage.

If someone wants to pay Mercury Morris or Garo Yepremian or Bob Kuchenberg an appearance fee for signing some autographs, good for them.

And, good for the 1972 Dolphins. May they earn on their accomplishment forever.

12. LOL
I worry that a game can do this to seemingly rational humans (you were already borderline on that one, but what the hell). But hey, it was funny rant, if a little scary in it's implications about sports fans, both the bandwagoneers, and the long time ones. :scared:

Congrats to you Dolfans. We may not see another run like that in our lifetimes, so the record could be there a looooong time. :toast:

And while a very good rant, it makes some pretty good points.

15. something to consider...
my uncle player for the green bay packers under vince lombardi back during their 2 superbowls. he and my dad got along great, both being football fans of the highest order, the only difference being that my uncle played on the defensive line and my dad played the armchair quarterback position. talking with my dad during the run-up week to the superbowl he commented that the nfl has altered or entered new rules that handcuff a defense to a certain degree. he basically said if the old-school rules were in play, herb adderly and bob jeter would have murdered randy moss on the first play, and hide the corpse on the second. and get away scot free...

personally, i think randy moss is a great player, but a punk that is in dire need of a good asswhipping.
