One of their football thugs players smacked UH's Colt Brennan with his helmet last year. Brennan missed the next week, and was never quite the same after -- including the epic Sugar Bowl gag job to, of all teams, Georgia (which now knows a thing or two about gag jobs :puke: ).

One of Hawaii's thug players did a helmet-to-helmet hit on Mikey Henderson after Hawaii's first punt, causing him to miss the majority of his last game.

It wasn't Fresno State's hitting that put Brennan off his game. It was Georgia's. Y'all weren't going to win that game, because Georgia was bigger, faster, stronger, and highly motivated. That was no "gag job." That was what a dominating defense will do to a completely overmatched team. We would have abused any QB you put out there.

Hell, you ought to be glad our offense took it easy on you in the second half. We could have made it 62-10 or 69-10 if we'd wanted to.

Yeah, I pull for the Georgia Bulldogs. FSU sure as hell wasn't the #89 team when they got to the playoffs. They're a damn good team.

The thing that kept on getting overshadowed was how great a job that Georgia did. We were the #8 seed, and we took out juggernaut Miami, went 5-0 in elimination games until the very last one, and made a very improbable run to the finals ourselves. If North Carolina had made the finals, you would have been hearing about underdog and Cinderella Georgia. Instead, we had to listen to Mike Patrick bring up that dude's thumb 50 million fucking times.

Seeing as how they've embarrassed Georgia Tech in a couple of minor west coast bowl games, though, I'm willing to not hate them forever. Just for a little while.
