Goodell Just Reinstated Favre

I think his negotiations with Packers had reached a deadlock.

Goodell told ESPN that he would move to reinstate Favre by Monday which would have given the Packers organization 24 hours to act.

Yet he went ahead and reinstated Favre on Sunday which sorta told me that maybe the negotiations between the Packers and Favre had fallen apart so the commissioner by reinstating Brett sooner was perhaps trying to push the two sides to come to an agreement sooner rather than later.

On the other hand I perhaps overlooked the fact that Brett and the Packers may have finally reached a deal and thus the commissioner reinstated Favre sooner. Given the second hypothesis, I dont believe that Favre would be traded. He will most probably start for the Packers.
