N.E. Patriot's OB Matt Cassel's Charmed Career Comes To An End
Edited on Sun Sep-07-08 10:04 PM by Yavin4
Matt Cassel played QB for the USC Trojans, but he was the backup behind Matt Leinart and Carson Palmer. He never started and rarely played. He was drafted by the N.E. Patriots in 2005, where he's been the backup for his entire career. In sum, Matt has actually played very little football, but he's still won 2 NCAA national championships and went to one Superbowl.

With Brady's injury today, he has to actually play games instead of just being the backup.

1. The Pats will have to win ugly.
But they can do that. As great as Brady is he's not the only great player on that team. We'll see how they respond. It should be fun to watch.
