5. What were your first two?
Western Illinois and La. Monroe, that's who. Out of courtesy I won't mention the scores.

The anticipation among Razorback fans for the later season Tulsa matchup must be intense.

6. Those are charitable contributions to schools with low revenue
And greatly justified for any team which plays in the toughest conference in the country.

24. A Florida v Tennessee pictoral for youe viewing pleasure......

What was that Vol players name?

So UT fumbled near the goal line. Wonder why?

Just as the 4th quarter begins... UF lead 27-0.... UT mascot, Smokey gets ..bagged.

The post game handshake... and hug.

Phil.Phil.Phil.

And on Monday morning....

?t=1190253001

I wonder if Urb called Lyin' Randi, the "coach" of the all-pussy, Miami Canes and asked if he should take a knee since Florida was on UT's goal line at games end?

7. Georgia at Ariz. State should be interesting.
I don't know how good Arizona State is, but I know the Georgia running back Moreno said that he's never been that far west. That looks like a potential upset, but I think the Bulldogs will pull through.

17. D'oh!
But can we get some credit for the TD we would have had if Saban hadn't called the dogs off at the end of the game? ;)
Arky's gonna be tough to handle once Petrino's offense has had a season or two to get fully on track. There could be a series of epic UA-UA battles in the near future.

18. Okay, credit given
I agree about Petrino but he might be gone by the seventh game. His record of staying in any one place ain't that good. And how is a Georgia resident a Bama Fan? I'm a UA grad who happens to be parked in Mississippi now and strangely enough we live in the middle of LSU territory (near the Louisiana border.) UA-UA have had some awesome battles in the past. The Hogs don't have a natural rival in the SEC (like they had with Texas in the SWC) although the conference is trying to make UA-LSU a rivalry with the silly boot trophy at the end of the year.

19. Not gonna be in GA much longer!
"And how is a Georgia resident a Bama Fan?"

Born and raised in Tuskyloosy. Moved here for school. Now I'm moving to my wife's hometown in Hattiesburg this fall. Her Louisiana relatives are all LSWho fans, but nice ones. :)

Yeah, that's kindof weird that Arky-LSU is being promoted as an intrdivisional rivalry, but it makes sense, since I don't think LSU has any big rivalries either. I wouldn't have thought Arkansas could keep it from being lop-sided. but they did get that big win last year. I'll be rooting for y'all the rest of the season. You'll need all the help you can get this year!

about 60 miles south of Hattiesburg. You'll have the opportunity to see some pretty good ball with USM.

Maybe after the new coach has a couple of years, but they're looking terrible so far this season.

25. Petrino is going nowhere....
So he quit The NFL...Big deal. Join the crowd of top end college coaches who have done that... Lou Holtz, Spurrier, Saban.... And Petrino sniffed at Auburn while he was at Lousiville. Any coach at Louisville should pursue a job at Auburn if possible. Trouble was, his sniffing became public.

So where would Petrino possibly go? Not The NFL. Unless he wins at Arky a bigger college job is not forthcoming.... Also, he's making top $$ at Arky, too.

He'll be there as long as you want him, IMO. If he does well, which I think he will... his name will be rumoured by "more big timers." That's what you should want, IMO.

If others don't covet your ball coach, you shouldn't either.

26. I don't covet him
I'd rather they kept Nutt and I hope Ole Miss beats the Hogs in Fayetteville on the 25th of October, for Nutt's sake. If Frank Broyles was still athletic director, Petrino wouldn't last two full seasons.

27. I like Houston. Thought he did pretty well at Arky....
Several SEC Champ Game appearances... but the affair seemed to have run it's course. Seemed Arky Fans were tired of him and it was time to go. Had the chance to get a new contract at Miss.... so... Coaches go to work for money just like the rest of us. He got a new 5 year deal and I don't think he would get that at Arky

Saw his TV show this morn with his game vs Vandy. Unreal how Vandy won that game.

Ed Orangatang left him some decent talent there.
