How are you Yankee fans holding up today?
Even though I am someone who has always sided with goodness and light, I still feel a little nostalgic about Yankee Stadium going away. I've been there, but that's many years ago.

1. I hate the Yankees, but I hate that the house that Ruth built is going
I do NOT think it should.

Somethings should never change

Wrigley field will be next...then we have NO great fields left

4. There was a big push in 2003 to fund a new stadium,
which I thought was pretty ballsy since at that point they expected the taxpayers to go for it while we were then at year 85 without a WS title!

5. I'm going to miss it.
It's a wonderful place, full of so much history. It was the first baseball stadium I ever went to and I was in awe. :(

I'll be ok though. :)

8. Thanks...and how can you not be impressed when a 92-year-old woman
throws out the first pitch????

7. I was going to post something about throwing out the first wrecking ball,
but I'll save it for Fenway. I'll miss Yankee Stadium too.
