Christmas special: Celtics Vs. Lakers
Was just checking the schedule, and see that the NBA is firing a massive shot in the WAR AGAINST CHRISTMAS.

The Celtics (20-2 as of today) will be playing the Lakers (17-2) at 5 PM EST on Christmas Day - an event sure to, um, draw many a fan away from family to squat before the toob.

Should be a doozy...

4. I went to a Sixers game on Easter once
Didn't realize I was at war. Did feel kind of odd, but I was out of town and no family to see anyway. At least I prayed that they'd win. :sarcasm:

NBA regular season just lacks the intensity of college basketball.

24. And I'm a diehard Celtics fan, but, in the grand scheme of things, the game..
has little meaning when you play over 70 a year.

I was impressed by the Lakers' center, whom I had not seen play. He posts up very well and makes his foul shots.
