(Chris) Paul sets steals record, Hornets beat Spurs
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap;_ylt=AlwYnulglsxn1LGStEGXmXiLvLYF?gid=2008121703&prov=ap

Paul set an NBA record with a steal in his 106th straight regular-season game and had 19 points and 12 assists to lead New Orleans to a 90-83 comeback victory Wednesday night.

Paul broke Alvin Robertson's NBA mark — which stood since 1986 — when he deflected and quickly corralled an attempted pass by Tony Parker late in the second quarter.

"It's an unbelievable achievement. Hopefully nobody else will come break it," said Paul, who often preaches the importance of getting turnovers in order to ignite the transition offense he leads so creatively. "I figure since I set the record, why not smash it? Let's see how long it can go."...

With the victory, the Hornets (15-7) narrowly held on to first place in the rugged Southwest Division, moving ahead of idle Houston (16-9) by a half-game and the Spurs (15-9) by a full game.

What's the matter with those guys? Have they no respect for the proud New Orleans tradition of abject suckitude?!

1. Mixed feelings
Happy for Paul and the most of the time Kickass Hornets. But Alvin Robertson was a Hog. Records are made to be broken and Having C3P break one is an honor.

The Hornets are doing their damndest to avoid Suckitude. They are trying to sell the naming rights of the Sports Arena; what say you KamaAinarena??? Got 15 mil in your backpocket???

2. I hope that goes better than Nagin's attempt to sell Mardi Gras
They are trying to sell the naming rights of the Sports Arena

he got one sponsor.

Glad trash bags.

I'm SERIES!!!111!!!11!!!11

Got 15 mil in your backpocket???

If I did, I'd probably be there -- which would mean they'd have to call it something else. Dallas had a "Reunion Arena", why not "Recovery Arena"?

3. Ray Ray is up to his ass in alligators again
something about five times more city employees taking city cars home with them then the city charter allows. And some evidence of hanky panky by city employees with city gas cards.

And this sad new for you. Big Daddy's on Bourbon (The swingin legs) is closing shop after 40 years of topless and bottomless.
