Hi today in Miami will be 83.....

Unfortunately my Phins aren't playing in Miami----

<snip>

The National Weather Service is forecasting dangerously cold wind chills through the rest of the weekend across the Kansas City region.

An arctic air mass tonight will build into Missouri and eastern Kansas with blustery northwest winds, the weather service said, ushering in the coldest temperatures of the season.

Readings will be in the single digits and likely also will fall below zero in northern areas of the region. Combining these temperatures with the winds will result in wind chill readings in the 15 to 25 below zero range.

Little in the way of warming can be expected on Sunday. Even during the daylight hours, wind chill values will continue to hover in the 15 to 20 below zero range.

The bitterly cold air will remain locked across the region through Monday morning. Winds will become light by then.

1. It's ludicrous that the Phins are in a Division with: NE, NYC, Buffalo...
I think I read they fly more miles every year than every other team.

3. Do you remember who the 5th team in the old AFC East was?
The Indianapolis Colts.

2. I don't like this game.
The first cold-weather game of the season, and "cold" in this case is an understatement. Here's hoping Ronnie and/or Ricky have big games.

4. Looking better now Trumad
I just wish the defense would tackle someone. No TD's in the last 3 games and we give up 4 today. Yikes!!!

6. Lovin' It
The coldest game in Phins history and they did it!! I friggin love Chad Pennington.
How about this one - the Patriots could win next week and still not make it to the playoffs. Now that would be fun!!!

7. Can we find a way to get Cobbs the ball a bit more often?
He looks like he can get it done on kick returns, and he burned the Chiefs on the reverse out of the wildcat.

8. I went to the game. It was cold.
Really, really cold.

"Empire Strikes Back" cold.

It's five hours later and my toes still hurt a little from being out in it -- and I was wearing two layers of socks and my warmest shoes.

Despite that and despite the Chiefs quitting in the second half for the brazillionth time this season, it was a fun game. It was amazing how many Dolphins fan were there. I don't know if they were mostly Miami transplants living in the KC area or if there were that many folks psycho enough to fly from sunny and warm Miami to the frozen tundra to watch their team thump a 2-12 opponent.

Good luck to you guys. For a lot of us Chiefs fans, the Phins are a symbol of hope. If Miami can turn the ship around that quickly, then there's a chance we might be able to do the same thing next year.

9. I was struck at how many close games you guys lost this season..

Including today... I think your coach gets one more season to see if he can start closing the deal in the 4th qtr.

I use to live in Raytown (63rd street) so I know how cold in gets in that neck of the woods. I live in Florida now-- Home state---- and it was 80 today.

LOL

10. Raytown? So you aren't an Eastern Elitist after all?
I lived about 10 miles from you on West 68th St. in Kansas. Well, it was a very long time ago.
