Romo has the flu! Romo may be out! Romo doesn't get along with TO! Will Romo be cursed if Jessica Simpson comes to the game? I mean, what if he gets a paper cut and ESPN doesn't report it?

I've come to realize that Romo may be more of a head case than TO.

5. Sweetheart
I hope you believe me when I tell you that I only wish the best for the Lions. I hope they rebound in a big way. I'm not sure getting rid of the coach was the best idea. If ever there was a case for getting rid of some players sted the coaching staff, the 08 Lions proved that.

I always have been and always will be a LIONS Fan. Best uniforms in the NFL, bar none. Their Fans deserve so much better.

Happy New Year to You My Friend.

6. You too! I see they've promoted someone named Martin Mayhew.
You'd think they'd have learned between Marty Morninwheig, Matt Millen, Mike Martz, Mariuchi, and Marinelli that the letter M might not be their lucky letter. Unless they bother to take off the blinders and notice some of those Pro Bowlers from the school that starts with an M that's 45 minutes away!

I demand that they let ME make their first draft pick. Heck, they might as well do a draft pick based on a fan poll. How could the fans do worse?

10. Martin Mayhew? There's a name I haven't heard in a long time.
He started at the other cornerback spot alongside Darrell Green in D.C. for a couple of years in the early 90's, left for Tampa bay, and then just vanished.

12. I guess I'm sort of a Mets fan too.
They've made the last two baseball seasons absolutely delightful for me!

15. LOL! The Lions started losing before the Mets existed!
They have not won a championship in my lifetime.

But I have faith. I love them and I have a Lions' necklace and earring set that I intend to wear for the Super Bowl.

I still have the copy of that magazine. But it was before we were born.

3. That might not be such a bad idea, Boss.
If Romo plays for the Lions, he'll never have to worry about choking in a big game, ever again.

4. Well, I think we can shelve the "QB elite" talk when it comes to ole Tony now.
He showed this year that he has a lot further to go than many of us (myself included) would have guessed at the start of the year.

7. I agree--- Sports Illustrated On-Line was his biggest pimp...
Every single time I hopped on their site last week, he'd have the top headline.... and I was saying---For What?

Then of course he collapses in the shower and there you go again--- Tony at the top of the headline...

I think we should call the phenomena---Brett Favreitis....

8. Of course he collapsed in the SHOWER. He'd rather they discuss that
than his collapse on the FIELD.

At this point, I'd take TO over him. And that's saying a lot. I can't stand TO.

14. As in politics, the press picks 'winners'. And losers. Phillips isn't getting enough blame...
I remember so well how he KILLED Buffalo's team karma by replacing Flutie - who had played well and gotten several wins for Buffalo - for the playoff game with Johnson. BAD MOVE.

16. Oh! Vous avez raison!
I've NEVER understood that move.

And I love Doug Flutie. Did you ever see that SNL skit where they acted as if Desmond Tutu broke Flutie's Heisman? I laugh every time I think about it.

Rest assured it's hilarious. Picture Desmond Tutu trying to glue together a Heisman trophy.
