I'd Like To Apologize

A while back I posted a couple of photos in this forum. My sole motivation was, well, I thought they were pretty funny. Some of you agreed. Others, however, accused me of defaming a "great American hero", or worse, glorifying Nazis. My first reaction was, "Lighten up!", or, "Have you no sense of humor at all?" But I know now that I had crossed the boundaries of good taste. Anyway, I was quickly chastised - LOCKED UP! FOREVER!

So again, I apologize if I offended anyone. And, of course, the fake bio that accompanied the photos was just that - fake. We all know the real story. That inspiring tale of a 10-year-old banjo virtuoso who traded in his instrument for a bicycle because, "It looked kinda like two big rotating banjos with a seat stuck in the middle! And Lordy was it FAST!"
