Favre-to-Vikings move possible
http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/88634-favre-to-vikings-move-possible?eref=fromSI

The Brett Favre-Vikings rumors have been circulating for a week. It's risky, but if the Vikings are unable to trade for Matt Cassel of New England or Matt Hasselbeck of Seattle, it wouldn't be shocking if they made a run at Favre should he become available, as expected. New Jets coach Rex Ryan expects Favre to attend offseason workouts, which Favre rarely did when he was in Green Bay. Currently, Favre counts for nearly $13 million on the Jets' tight salary cap, and they could save that money if they place him on waivers next month. The future hall of famer would then become a free agent and available to the Vikings, who were interested in him last summer. (St. Paul Pioneer Press)

Favre to the Vikings?? It sounds like he will probably not be back with the Jets. Retire now Brett.

1. Did the Vikings NOT watch the end of last season?
Yikes. And it seemed like Tavares Jackson was playing much better too. That would be a bad bad move for the Vikings.

4. I think it is time for Favre to retire.
Of course if the Cowboys play the Vikings next year, I wouldn't mind seeing them beat Favre one last time!!!

2. If I remember the trade deal with the Jets
There was a clause if he was allowed to go to the Vikings within so many years they would owe the Packers 3 1st rounders, but I could be wrong.

3. I remember hearing about "penalties" if he ended up with the Vikings.
Though I don't remember if they were against Favre or the Jets.

6. Yeah. It's time for him to retire.
The way he played the second half of the season, shows that he doesn't have the stamina and/or desire to get through an entire season.
