Brett Favre Retiring
It was just reported on ESPN that Brett Favre intents to retire after one year with the Jets. I am wondering how Jets fans feel about this. They gave up Chad Pennington and ended up losing their coach just for one year with Brett Favre. Are Jets fans going to be pissed?

1. As if they would be pleased if Mangini and Pennington were still there?
They were 14-18 in their two seasons together.

2. The failure of the Jets is God's punishment for the Yankees.

3. We'll see.
He has "retired" before so we shall see. I do wonder if he wants to come back, will the Jets send him packing (no pun intended) like Green Bay did?

4. Wait until training camp begins
Favre will change his tune again. He's already thrown more interceptions than any QB in NFL history...why does he feel the need to add to that total?

6. He needs to stay retired! Like Montana was an embarassment in KC,
Favre would be that way wherever he goes next year.

7. I didn't like him being there
but Montana was far from an embarrassment in KC...he led the Chiefs to the playoffs both years he was there.

10. Because he's also thrown more touchdowns than any QB in NFL history.
