14. My Dayton Flyers play tomorrow, elleng. Class of 82.

I pull for Villanova, too, cos my high school buddy coaches them. And of course, Iowa, but unless a miraculous run through the Big Ten tourney happens, not this year. They're a year or two away.

I honestly don't recall. We sucked a few years back. We made the Elite 8 in 84 behind Roosevelt Chapman. Lost to Georgetown. Next year lost to Villanova in the first round. Both won the championship. Our claim to fame.

33. Met my wife in Savannah in 93.

We moved here in 95 for the sole purpose of her Doctorate in Comparitive Literture. Believe me, we weren't going to stay. Fell in love with Iowa. Now, I'll die here. The wife now works for the university. It's crazy, elleng but I have NO desire to come back east. It must be that I was born in Detroit.

OK with me! My dear brother is in Fairfield for life!

And my Dad, who is 95, just moved there from Florida! Dad was born in NYC, and moved to Florida to get away from northern winters! Mom passed in September, and brother suggested that Dad join him and family in Ffld. He's found a nice assisted living place, and last I heard sounds happy. SO, I'm happy! He's already started to grow tomatoes!!!

As to villa, nice that buddy coaches them, but daughter DID attend St. Joe's, and they don't exactly love villa! As to Iowa, family there! Nephew just transferred to Grinnel, his family lives in fairfield with my Dad. SO, we're almost related!!!
