It's official..Stanford Women Get Screwed...
...how Duke got a #1 above them amazes me...other than that, no real surprises.

1. I don't understand
Stanford is the #2 ranked team in the nation, won the Pac 10 tourney easily...how can the selection committee possibly justify this?

2. You may want to change your subject line.
The coeds may be promiscuous, but that is over the top. :sarcasm:

3. The 7th ranked Auburn women were screwed even worse.
After the first game they will have to beat Rutgers, a 19-12 team, at Rutgers home gym and then beat Oklahoma at fucking Oklahoma to advance. For a Number 2 seed with at 29-3 record, this is pathetic.

The NCAA is all about money and taking care of their sacred cows. Stanford and Auburn are not, as George Carlin would say, members of the fucking club.

4. Duke beat Stanford head to head in December but the main thing was
the weakness of the Pac-10 this year. They only got three teams in the tournament this year and only won 65% of their non-conf games. Whereas the ACC got six teams in and won 80% in non-conf.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter all that much because if they advance to the Sweet 16, Stanford will have a huge "home-court" advantage. I would much rather be a two seed and play at "home" than be a one seed playing 2200 miles from home like Duke.

5. Duke won by 4 points.. in Durham no less
I hardly think that's justification enough for disrespecting the #2 team in the country. This is all about kissing Duke's ass.

Wins against RPI top10 Duke 3 Stanford 0

Road wins against top 50 Duke 2 Stanford 1

Neutral site wins against top50 Duke 2 Stanford 2
