 :eyes: :banghead:

Favre hires a personal trainer

Charley Walters of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports QB Brett Favre, 39, who could end up with the Vikings, has hired a personal trainer at home in Mississippi.

Favre's sudden arrival on the market makes you wonder if that's the reason the Vikings haven't spent much on free agency this year. Maybe they knew something.

and this: Childress: Favre likely to be discussed

Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports Coach Brad Childress said the Vikings have yet to discuss the fact that Brett Favre is now on the open market and free to talk to other teams — the quarterback was released from the New York Jets reserve/retired list on Tuesday — but acknowledged the subject likely would be broached. There has been speculation that although Favre retired for a second consecutive offseason in February, he might return to play for the Vikings.

"We haven’t ,” Childress said. ”It doesn’t mean we won’t. We talk about everything from what’s going on in the United States on the front page today. … We talk about everything. So, yeah, I’m sure we’ll talk about that.”

Love Mr. Rodgers......only jersey I own, outside of Gilbert Brown's, (bought his when he decided to work his own contract with the Packers), and Max McGee's.....well, just because I loved the guy. I think the Packers with the 2 top draft picks this year are gonna be contenders......

10. I would be psyched to see Favre in a Vikings uniform.
The Pack-Vikings matchups would be epic.

I'm sure ESPN will be rooting with those two on MNF in Week 4.

13. There's more -- REPORT: “FAVRE CAN’T STAND GREEN BAY”
Though plenty of folks continue to accept at face value the same “I ain’t comin’ back” message that a certain quarterback was communicating as late as early July of 2008, the signs point to the Second Annual Brett FavreRetirement becoming the Second Annual Brett Favre Unretirement.

Why? Favre reportedly still wants revenge on the Green Bay Packers.

“Favre can’t stand Green Bay,” an unnamed league source told Gary Myers of the New York Daily News. “He wants to play Green Bay and say, ‘I told you so.’ His bitterness is creating this. I think he’s calling Minnesota. I think Minnesota is talking about this as we speak. You haven’t heard the end of Favre. No way. He is bionic. As long as somebody will let him in, he will play.”

http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/05/02/report-favre-cant-stand-green-bay/

If this is true, it's a very pathetic end to a great career.
