3. Really? Here, tonight on MLB Network
tomorrow is on TBS. NESN should be carrying both if you have it.

I wish I could get NESN here.

8. I know but here's what gets me.....so many Red Sox fans
whine and whine about the Skankees being the evil empire, yet Boston isn't that much more honorable at $121,745,999

Since, as everyone knows, I'm always honest -- 24/7 in fact -- yes, I'll concede the hated Mets and irritating Cubs are even more desperate and frantic to purchase a World Series ring.

But my point is Boston, and its annoying fans, have no room whining about NYY. As TZ says about Boston: "lovable losers they are not"!!!

I'll say.

9. I think you're confused...
They YANKEES are 200 million ($201 million, actually) and the Red Sox are $122 million. They Yankees are spending roughly 65% more on players than the Sox. I can't fault the Yankees for doing it, though. They make the kind of money that enables them to do it, and they owe it to their fans to put that revenue back into the team, which they do. When the fans support the team, and it brings in a lot of money, aren't they supposed to spend it on the team?

I don't have an issue with revenue sharing, provided they set something to prevent the low revenue team owners from just pocketing the money. It's shameful that the two most profitable teams in baseball were the Marlins and Nats last year, and Loria has now received more money in revenue sharing than he paid for the team.
