It's all you can do.

By the time the isles were the age the Sharks are now they had already lifted four of those babies.

Shit!!!! They won more championships in the last 55 years than Giants. And they've only been around for about 36 of em.

Tis sad when the mighty fall. Even sadder to have never been mighty.

6. I was too busy enjoying the start of the 49ers dynasty to care about what
the Islanders were doing.

I didn't even have a hockey team back then.

3. It kind of puts things in perspective when an expansion team like the Florida Marlins
have TWO world championships, and yet another expansion team, the Sharks have NO championships.

14. I was at a Red Wings - Canucks game once and the Canucks fan next to me
was giving me a hard time. So I just bided my time, and a few minutes later, asked him, completely dead pan, where they hung their Stanley Cup banners. To give him credit, he laughed! (He'd been ribbing me the whole time, though - starting with, "are you actually FROM Michigan or are you just a bandwagon fan?" So I didn't feel too bad!
