Anybody know good books on shapeshifters?
doing research for a story and I am trying to find shapeshifter myths through out different parts of history and cultures.

Not just your traditional werewolves but other kinds as well, the nagas of India, Thunderbirds and were coyotes of America,..evewn the were rats that supposedly roamed Penslyvania..

I want to know kind so fshapeshifters, attitudes towards them, how they changed, stuff like that...

Anybody know a good book or two that researches this?

Any help i sappreciated...

1. I learned about shapeshifting from John Perkins...He is a friend of mine
& I spent a lot of time with him learning from him. He took a couple of trips with me and groups down to the Amazon in the 1990's. He lived among the Schuar and Achuar and other tribes working with the Shaman's. Don't remember the names of his book, but John is amazing. He lives in Florida....

4. Shapeshifting: Shamanic Techniques for Global and Personal Tranformation
That's the name of the book about shapeshifting. I suspect he talks some about it in other books too. It's pretty cool that you know him.

2. There's a book called "The Magic of Shapeshifting"
by Rosalyn Greene. I haven't read it, so can't exactly recommend it, but you may want to check it out. It's available on Amazon, which also offers it in a package with John Perkins' "Shapeshifting."
