My first professional fiction sale was published today!
I recently sold two interrelated short stories to an online science fiction podcast called "Escape Pod".

This week my tale "Iron Bars and the Glass Jaw" is the feature story. The reading runs about 35 minutes and can be downloaded at www.escapepod.info

Let me know if you like it :)

2. I just listened
to your story and thought it was excellent. In addition to being a good yarn spinner, you obviously have a knack for writing realistic dialogue and for inserting necessary background info seamlessly.

My only complaint is that IIRC, you weren't the one reading the story.

Anyway, BigMcLargehuge, KUDOS! I enjoyed it.

7. Congratulations!!!! But what about us electronically challenged folk?
Even though I love science fiction, I have no pod thing (for podcasting or otherwise). :-( And I have only dialup. :-( :-(
Any other places to read/listen to it?

9. Whoops! I was wrong again!
I thought podcasting required an ipod.... I see now that the file's an MP3. Boy, I need to get up to speed here.... :eyes:

I'll download it later tonight then! Thanks!

11. Got it! Listened to it! Liked it!
It's an interesting conversation - definitely brings up a bunch of worthwhile issues. And it's an good twist on the superhero theme!

I'm pretty sure, though, that The Union would monitor all communications, no? :-) No, don't tell me! I'll wait till your next episode! Good job!
