Of Benchmarks, Timetables & The Onus Brick Road...
so they could have dropped a 2000lb bomb somewhere near Saddam's head every 42 to 57min in a maddeningly random fashion, you know, just to bug the shit out of him, you know, from then all the way to now; round the clock pick Saddam's shit all to pieces, saved thousands & thousands of lives; we could have all ran out and bought stock in some cruise missile company but no...

Karl Rove needed something onto which to boot-strap his boy; Bill Kristol & Rich Lowery needed a creamy little squirt in their panties, and the likes of Pat Buchanan & Andrew Sullivan needed a dime upon which to turn so NOW WE ARE THERE, it should be noted; after all this duplicitous blather we are there not to put to fine a point on it

he told us that strange bush kid; that he was a war president, that he made decisions with war on his mind; Rove said America will always rally round their president in a time of war but that's like stating with great & long-winded august silver-tongued wind-baggery that rain will form puddles so maybe that Rove egomaniac ain't so all fancy smart after all AND NOW WE ARE THERE SO AS TO SAY, and 'the there' is Iraq...g.w. bush's war gone mad

so his/their endeavor is to pass the buck/the onus to a group of people they care so little for that they setup a template half way round the world within which g.w. bush's chosen ones they are both routinely killed AND ignored, the Iraqi's themselves whose neighborhood he detests even more, talking over the top of and made to sit at the children's table during american holidays Iraqi's; pass it all to a room full of american generals they have never filled with words they were willing to listen to. they are the ones. not g.w. bush, not Rove, Kristol, Lowery, fill-in-the-blank...but they-them-someone else, anyone other than g.w. bush

but they have made it seems what will sooner be yet another of their grievous mistakes this: The Benchmark, putting 'the benchmark', i should say, into the mouth not of a craftsman no square & plumb-bob guy; but g.w. bush instead, 'square peg in a round hole george'

at least with a timetable you can stand there tapping your toe while looking at your watch cursing the regional transit, or light-rail system management or whatever else i.e. auto accident caused some pole to fall, electrical steam generator on the fritz...whatever...

but a 'benchmark' is fixed, i had to ask hubby cause he used them when he used to cut what he called "a fab package"...apparently it is even more rigid than a 'timetable' because it is a mark, very specific, or a stop, on a bench with which to measure a larger piece of material and cut it with a 'chop-saw', or some other, down and into a predetermined specification, who knew

if bush thought for one instant that he had been given a free pass on all the drivel that has spewed & spilled from his mouth in the form of this already-erstwhile display of semantical silly putty he will be proven most wrong once again when especially it is that a craftsman does not merely make a benchmark and simply walk away never to return

a true craftsman is known of his benchmark as a specific notation that he references throughout the course of a constructive process (not de-structive, as g.w. bush would have it) that yields a desired result according to a plan of action therefore a benchmark is not a flip excuse to shirk responsibility quite the contrary & by no means both,

imo g.w. bush has once again dramatically-failed to understand the specific gravity of his wanton errors that continue to destroy the world for little more than a mouth full of square pegs

1. On Benchmarks and failure-
President asshead is going to try and re-write the dictionary; by the time people wake up and realize it, I wonder what happens to The American Pathos. He is a national, brutal failure.

I wonder what happens to America when we get out of Iraq, throw the bum out of office.
Impeach.

Will it be like a pressure cooker with the lid taken off? Will we forget the "pains of childbirth"?

Will we finally feel happy?

Nominated. Thank you for this.
