Hey writers, here's a contest (with fabulous prizes)

Hi DU,

My new novel WAKE came out a few weeks ago and my publisher (Simon & Schuster) has teamed up with fanlib.com to hold a dream-writers short story contest. Prizes include

a WAKE-skinned Wii
one of five iPods
signed copies of WAKE

This is a talent-based contest. All the details are at http://wakecontest.fanlib.com

You must submit your story by April 1.

This is really a contest for anyone who is interested in trying something new on top of their usual writing.

Winning it would make for a great bio credit too -- the contest is sponsored by Simon & Schuster. But it's definitely not for everyone. :)

I'm getting into the action a little late, I realize, but I'm hoping I can throw something together before Monday! Doubt it'll be good enough to win, but I hope it'll get my creative juices flowing again!
