Dobson's crowing about the changes over at Planned Parenthood.
Gloria Feldt, the president of Planned Parenthood up until a few days ago - well, her resignation is viewed by the Religious Right as some kind of victory.

I hope they do view it that way - then they won't know that reproductive rights advocates are networking, gathering resources, moving forward and fighting the good fight (and winning through more reproductive-care/birth-control/Plan-B, etc.) until it is too late. I will fight until my last breath to (1) give women choices, so that every child is a wanted child, and (2) there is no forced birth. 90% of all procedures to terminate pregnancy occur well-inside the first trimester. Meanwhile, we struggle to find adoptive parents for the children who have been abused, neglected and/or abandoned. I used birth control proudly for over ten years. I will not see us return to the days of back-alley abortions.

1. Good.
Let the religious right view this as a victory.

Let the Republicans continue to believe the Democratic Party is dead because they just barely beat us this time.

Let a big chunk of them continue to be the arrogant dumbasses that they are, because they're dropping their guard.

I think now is the perfect time to metaphorically move in for the kill. It's time to mobilize more. It's time to really continue to fight for what we believe in, so we can crush them when they least suspect it.

I don't think that anybody knows better than the Democratic Party does that letting one's guard down is a foolish thing to do. You would think the Republicans would have learned that by observation, but they obviously didn't. Now, they learn that lesson the same way we did, the hard way.

Bwhahahaha!

Not only do I predict that Roe vs. Wade won't be overturned, but I predict that civil unions will be legal BEFORE Bush is out of office. I don't want to change the subject by adding that though.
