Medical Marijuana Law Question (Michigan)
I occasionally do some work at the Marathon Oil Refinery in Detroit (Just a few days a year, 5 is a a lot).

They are instituting a new policy, as of 1/1/11, where they will randomly pull a hair and use it to test for drugs. This can be done on anyone and it includes marijuana use.

I have been told that even people with their "card" won't be able to work in the plant.

Is this legal? If you are prescribed something by a doctor can that really cost you your job?

FYI, I quit smoking long ago and don't have my card. For me this question is academic but I am concerned for others.
