The battle to save our school

It is in a 97 year old building. Our district administration announced Friday that they are asking the board to vote to close 13 buildings and ours is on the list.

We are going to try to save it.

Please send good thoughts. This is going to be a tough battle.

And what kind of a school district waits till June, a week after school let out for the summer, to announce school closings? :crazy:

To answer your question... the kind of district that doesn't want people to have time to organize and protest their decision.

It's probably unlikely that they will save such an old building, though. What are their plans to shuffle around the students and staff?
