**Edited to add that I will acknowledge that he has some teachers who would still vote for him.

The ones I know are not voting for Republicans, but they're not happy with Obama, either.

We had a nice conversation. She, like so many African Americans, expressed deep anger at her party, the Democrats, for failing to support President Obama from the beginning. The only reason she was there helping them get elected was, as she put it, because she couldn't stand the thought of Mitch McConnell and John Boehner as Majority Leader or Speaker. She wasn't angry at Obama: she was angry at Democrats for the ways in which they have failed to work with and support his agenda.

Believe me, the vast majority of teachers will be voting for Obama. You should get around and meet more of them.

wholeheartedly. Some teachers may truly be uninformed to Obama's role in our educational assault, and still support him. I do encounter these fellow educators from time to time. Eventually, they will figure it out and when that happens, it may be a bad day for Obama's hopes at reelection.

So she was angry at those who did not support his school agenda. She and the others you mention did not care if he is doing the right thing for students?

Most teachers around here are either Republican or reluctant Dems (conservative area). Add in NCLB, and we're even more disgusted.

We need another nominee.

Hopefully Obama won't seek renomination a la Johnson..... and thus avoid a divisive primary ordeal.

any of the things listed in the poll. He is content with allowing the dismantling of free public education. After all he is a very wealthy man who is well aware that no child of his will ever have to mingle with the likes of our kids.
