=== ACTION NEEDED NOW: Stop & Shop Supermarkets "negotiating" with Bay Windows to bring sexually graphic, revolting anti-Catholic newspaper back into its stores! ===

Your hard work got it removed in the first place! As you remember, about three weeks ago the two largest supermarket chains in New England, Stop & Shop and Shaws / Star Markets, bowed to pressure from their customers across the state (i.e., you!). Both companies agreed to stop distributing "Bay Windows," a sexually graphic, anti-family homosexual newspaper, in their stores.

This decision was hailed by families all over New England.

Click here to see what was in an average issue of "Bay Windows" picked up at a Stop & Shop store. (Caution: extremely gross.)

Not only that, but Bay Windows had deceived their readers by publishing fake full-page Stop & Shop ads in their paper, to make it look like the chain was advertising in it! But Stop & Shop told us they had nothing to do with those ads. Click here to see for yourself.

Revolting, anti-Catholic articles. Bay Windows has had a long history of hatred toward religious tradition, and Catholicism in particular. On the day of the Pope's funeral they published an unbelievably disgusting series of articles attacking him. We're reluctant to even list them here with links, but you should probably see what the "mainstream" homosexual movement is all about:

From the April 7 issue which hit the stands Friday, April 8:

Requiem for the pope's penis

"How did the pope reconcile his oppression of human sexuality with the reality of his own body?. . .
"Here is a pope who, after decades of Vatican II liberalizations, insisted on the Roman Church returning to the most traditional, repressive, and - to the democratic, western mind - anti-sexual and anti-humanist doctrines on sexuality, gender and personal freedom. But as I thought about the political and theological legacy of Pope John Paul II - and his virulent and hateful homophobia - my thoughts kept returning to the pope' body and his penis."

The Holy Father's Homophobia

Media coverage of the Pope's death ignored the issue. The pope hated gays.

Gay Catholics react to Pope John Paul II's legacy

His legacy of anti-gay rhetoric and policy has driven many people to leave the church. . . And the hatefulness of the rhetoric that came from Vatican officials, including the pope himself, on issues of families headed by same-sex couples being violent to children, the scapegoating of gay priests for the sexual abuse scandals and the attacks on countries that were working to find more justice under civil law for their GLBT citizens, all of this came under terrible attacks from the Vatican. I think the other sort of connected legacy is really the number of lives that were lost to the HIV/AIDS epidemic, not strictly among the gay community, but all across the world because of the Vatican's refusal and the Pope's refusal to even consider condom use as a lifesaving preventative measure.

In addition, the entire front page of that Bay Windows issue consisted of a huge, dark picture of the Pope with his eyes closed, with the superimposed headline "The Holy Father's Homophobia." One would have thought that Stop & Shop was glad that this one wasn't in their stores.

Stop & Shop tells gay newspaper in Washington, DC they're "negotiating". A week later, we got a call from a supporter in Washington, DC. The "Washington Blade," a hard-core homosexual newspaper, had published an "action alert" about the Stop & Shop incident, and warning their readers about Article 8! In the article, they quoted Robert Keane, a spokesperson for Stop & Shop, said in an e-mail interview: "We are in negotiations to restock the paper without the personal ads in it." Click here for the "Washington Blade" article.

Needless to say, we were shocked. But sure enough, the next two issues of Bay Windows have not included the personal ads, although they had other graphic advertisements. (They tell their readers to go to their website for the personal ads.)

Boston Herald reports on negotiations. Yesterday's Boston Herald had an article in their Business Section that quotes Stop & Shop's Keane saying that it wasn't the articles that bothered him, just the ads. And, yes, it might come back to Stop & Shop. Excuse me? Click here for the Boston Herald article.

Phone calls from our office today to Stop & Shop's offices resulted in, well, the runaround.

Are you angry yet? Is Stop & Shop this willing to sell out to the homosexual movement, and distribute something as vile as this in their store? Maybe they need to hear from YOU while they're doing their "negotiating."

=== Update on our $50,000.00 challenge - help us make it! ===

Started on: Sunday, Feb. 13

Goal: $50,000.00

Total so far: $28,344.00

Our successes are made possible by your donations!

Every $100 that you donate helps BRING BACK control of government by the people and helps STOP the radical homosexual agenda in the Legislature, in Massachusetts, and in America. These next few months will be crucial - and full of action, as our bills in the Legislature go to committee hearings.

And let the gay movement's "corporate sponsors" know that their days of funding their attacks on society are numbered.

This is a defining moment. We have the capability to fight back and win if enough people help this cause.

You can be a part of the movement to fight back against the homosexual lobby's MAJOR push in the Massachusetts Legislature for their agenda this year - to expand their reach into the schools, in government, and in your lives. .

Right now, we're still struggling to pay our operating expenses, our staff, and a mailing to update supporters around the state who don't get email. Your help in this challenge is REALLY important.

2. I thought they were just a gay magazine
But they're anti-catholic too. Well, we just can't have that in the supermarkets. (/End Sarcasm)
