3 arrested in N. California lesbian gang rape case

RICHMOND, Calif. (AP) -- One man and two teens have been arrested on suspicion of gang-raping a woman last month in the San Francisco Bay area while allegedly taunting her for being a lesbian, police said Thursday as they searched for a fourth suspect.

Officers arrested 31-year-old Humberto Hernandez Salvador at his Richmond home Wednesday night, Richmond police Lt. Mark Gagan said. The suspect is being held without bail on gang rape, kidnapping and carjacking charges.

Police also arrested a 15-year-old Richmond boy and a 16-year-old Hercules boy Wednesday. Their names were not released.

Investigators are still seeking 21-year-old Josue Gonzalez, who had prior addresses in San Rafael and Richmond, on a $1 million warrant for gang rape, kidnapping and carjacking, police said. Gonzalez was called by the nickname "Pato" during the attack and is considered armed and dangerous, Gagan said.

and that they prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I know that there is a hierarchy in prison and rapists are near the bottom.

These crimes happen because of all the homophobia spewing from the pulpits on Sunday, coupled with cultural homophobia endemic in certain ethnic communities.

The one nicknamed "Pato," in the aftermath of the rape I posted that "pato" means "duck" in Spanish, but that in places such as Puerto Rico it is slang for "faggot."

There does seem to be an increase in anti-gay crime every time the Religious Wrong starts spewing their homohatred.
I hope that these guys get the book thrown at them and that they catch the fourth guy and throw the book at him, too.

If inciting a riot is illegal, then encouraging violence against people should be a crime too.

Hearing what happened to this woman in California really broke my heart. I am so glad they got some of the guys that did this. I hope they find the others and they all get the punishment they deserve.
