Cosmetology Student Expelled For Being HIV-Positive

A Littlerock are cosmetology school has expelled a student after he told an administrator his is HIV-positive.

Allan Dugas said Thursday that he began his training at Hair Tech Beauty College on January 27, 2005. During class one day he was asked why he appeared tired.

Dugas explained that he was HIV-positive. He was then informed by letter that he was being dropped from the course.


I want to be this guy's attorney when he sues the hell out of these morans!

Why are people so convinced that HIV is a gay disease? Anyone can get it. What gets me is that evangelicals convinced themselves that it is god's punishment on gays. Stupid. Why can't they treat gays like humans?

Dugas has a great case. The American with Disabilities Act would likely be applicable in this situation.


I hope these people pay.

4. I have always been amazed at the ability of people
to hold diametricly opposed views. AIDS can't both be a punishment by God for being gay and able to be transmitted by a hair dresser.
