Fred Phelps in Albany 3/6/09

On March 6th Fred Phelps came to Albany, NY. Now, responding to him is complicated. He thrives on confrontations and actually makes a career out of suing people who directly face him. Everyone responds to him with affirming, pro-acceptance rallies, which are great. I brought some flags and rainbow stuff I had lying around, but personally felt I needed to do something else to respond: I didn't want to play his game.

March 6th also happened to be the same day that Watchmen was released.

Since the guy was obviously thrown out the window out to punish the U.S. for not persecuting gays.

3. That's a good one. Some people I know who...

regularly confront Phelps say just laughing at him works best. His little tribe has no idea how to deal with ridicule.

(I've thought a box full of huge dildos with his family's faces painted on them might work...)

5. If you were in disquise like in the photo you could had sprayed him with deer urine and skunk crap.

Then make a quick exit provided police were not present.

Preferably something along the line of the skunk odor that cannot be easily removed so they would possibly be detained from air travel.

and Watchmen's outfits are HARD to make. I'd hoped to get like 10 other people involved, and done some obvious crossdressing/4chan themed Rorschach-Nite Owl- Silk Spectre 0T3, not to mention have several Dr. Manhattan's with dildos, but it was cold, so I guess it worked out for the best. :evilgrin:

We drove Westboro right out of Buffalo when they came here to protest Flight 3407 memorials. Just search for "Westboro Flight 3407" on youtube.
