I know existingCalifornia marriages are unaffected by prop 8, but what does the future...

...hold?

Wikipedia calls it a "pending legal issue" and that prop 8 proponents are saying it should mean all marriages are anulled.

Is there a legal fight coming up on this? Which way is the wind blowing?

2. Proposition 8 really doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things.

With some states endorsing same-sex marriage and others prohibiting it, the matter is going to eventually going to have to be taken up by the federal government. The only question is what route it is going to take, Congress or the Supreme Court.
