a-dam. A-dam.. A-Dam! A-DAM!!! All the LadyBugs want ADAM!!!!
Hi everyone!

Straight but not narrow supporter of equal rights here just offering up this small prayer for tonight's AI festivities.

Dear God,

Let Adam Lambert have a boyfriend. Please let him kiss him full on the mouth should he win this evening.
PLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE let those FOX people have to THROW A FREAKING TICKER TAPE PARADE right there and then while it is happening.

Thanks, I promise to try my best at being reasonably good.

The Laydee

1. Have to agree with ya. Adam is probably the ONLY Idol star to ever
Edited on Wed May-20-09 03:32 PM by Blaze Diem
make me buy their CD. Not Clarkson, or Underwood. Don't own one of their CD's .
BUT here's ADAM LAMBERT and I can listen to him all freeakin day, and love him & all he represents in this Mad Mad World.

I love the theatrics, the amazing voice, and can't wait to buy his first & 2nd, etc CD

He is indeed musical artistry in all its most appreciable forms.

Good Luck tonight, Adam.
Idol champion or not, his star is heading for brilliance.

Paul Rodgers.

I do, however, like Kelly Clarkson. Though I don't own any of her stuff.

3. Clarkson is a great singer & performer & Underwood is undeniably beauty & talent & niceness
Both got to the top & stayed because of their talent.

But Damn,,,I mean Adam...is a one in a million find.
It is evident in the comments of great performers from Aerosmith, to Queen & beyond, that great talent knows great talent when they see it.

This does make me worry about tonights pick. Adam would be bound to American Idol's contract and not able to follow his own star..Queen & others would have to wait until Adam was someday released from Idol.
I believe Clarkson had some issues with this also. She was kept from performing her own songs, bound by Idol contracts.

In this case it would be best if Allen would win tonight, he is perfect Idol marketing material.
Though boring and typical, he would thrive under the watchful, Idol contractual business.

Basically Idol tells their little star what to do & how & when..They market you.

Adam has already marketed himself through his appearances on this season's show. (Smart man !)
He really doesn't need Am. Idol at this point.

He has millions of fans and the world loves him, & the world wants more of what he's got.

Bigger guns than Am Idol also want him...I assume he's received a few plum offers. Queen would be outstanding.
I assume he has an independent agent.

Whatever happens, Adam is ours to know forever...yaaaaaaaaaaaaa

5. this grandma LOVES Adam
I'm not a musician, but his voice reminds me so much of Roy Orbison. I wish he would do some of his songs, Blue Bayou, or Crying, any of them. (but I like anything he sings)

Clearly Adam Lambert was always too good for American Idol.
He is 22 yrs old in this video.
He sings a beautiful song from the Broadway Play 'Brigadoon'.

I miss him already, and I cannot wait to follow this brilliant musical star through the future.

This is amazing. Enjoy (with tissues)
