There will be full and equal rights.

Give BO a chance to do this in a way that will not backfire
or be watered down. He wants to make permanent, long lasting change
and it must be done carefully.

In the meantime, fight the good fight.
This will help BO do the job right.

Even if he really believes marriage is about a man and a woman, he believes in something more than that. He believes in equal rights for all people. He represents all Americans, not just the ones he agrees with.

He will never forget that his own parents could not legally have married in a number of countries or American states.

You presume much with no basis to back any of it up. The man offered lip service during the election. He made flowery speeches about the beauty of life for gays and lesbians. And as soon as the election was over and he had won, he conveniently forgets his promises.

We don't even get THAT tiny drip of 'fierce advocacy'. He's been completely silent, unless he has one of his stooges come out and say that the policy won't be changed any time soon. Nice.

Yeah, he's "only" been in office for 4 months. Next year, we'll hear that he's only been in office for a year. Then we'll hear, two years. Then we'll hear how we can't jeopardize the re-election campaign, because he's definitely going to do something in his second term.

I'm done. No more money, no more time, no more faith. I'm putting my faith in Olsen and Boies now. The time has come for America to live up to its promises for equality.
