Would you believe that Pastor Bob is allied with the Family Research Council and Concerned Women for America? Of course you would.
Thought I'd post their community organizing strategy (Culture Impact Teams) for your information. I'm sure that adultry and divorce among Christians is on their agenda as well. :eyes:
God forbid they go after HDTV and beer - that would bring American culture to its knees. Anywho, here ya go:
CURRENT PROJECTS (<== click)
Training to Impact Maine Culture“Now that the legislative session is winding down, it is a good time to prepare your church family for future efforts. We have been working to establish Culture Impact Teams under the guidance and control of local Churches/Pastors all around Maine. These teams will be able to quickly access information and help the leadership decide what is most relevant to the local church. They will then become the resource for action alerts and prayer groups in the community.“
“This is a good time to examine the Biblical and historical role of the Church in our culture. We can provide help with understanding a Biblical approach to impact culture, legislative process, good methods to keep your church informed, legal "do's & don'ts", etc. Contact us to discuss speaking engagements or workshops. “
“If you would like to help organize an event in your Church or community, please let us know.”
*Monthly (almost) Meetings - We welcome the participation, the prayers and encouragement of likeminded citizens of Maine. If you share our vision, or if you would like further information, please contact us.
*Email List - If you would like to receive our email notices of upcoming meetings, “Action Alerts” and related notes, please let us know.
*Seminars, speaking engagements, training sessions and research are available by contacting us.
