The Gay Men's Chorus I am in had its concert
A student of mine was a soloist as well. We are sort of small, about 30 members, but are pretty good if I say so myself. Our theme was peace for the year with us performing several small peace related songs and a cantata called Brave Souls and Dreamers that was originally commissioned for the Portland (Ore) Gay Men's Chorus. I admit to being so proud watching my student sing solo (he was one of the soldiers). Anyone else here sing in a gay men's chours?

We have several non music readers in our chorus.

3. I went to a GMC concert this past Saturday....
Their theme was "Stage." Various and sundry Broadway/Off-Broadway/Film music.

I am not involved, though... My significant other (who is a choir director and has a masters in vocal performance) gets peeved with me because I won't sing. He seems to think I have a good voice, but I'm too self-conscious to try something like that.
