Hate walks amongst us without notice- that needs to stop. We need to be organized.
Reading about Hannity and Rove doing the NAMBLA number- I am again struck by the fact that it is apparently possible for these two to walk the streets of DC and New York, to go to restaurants and hotels, to shop, and take taxis, and do all manner of things in peace because they are not wearing white hoods.

What self respecting black man would serve David Duke? What self respecting black woman would cut the hair of the Imperial Wizard's wife? Am I wrong?

I have to assume that the reason these people can say these outrageous things with no concern for consequence is that most people, and nearly all gay people simply do not recognize them without their hoods. Yes, these people have a right to freedom of speech, but that doesn't mean they have a right to walk down the street in peace after spewing hate and promoting violence.

When the Klan shows up here, and they do occasionally, some black people turn out even though they know it's only going to be a handful of klansmen holding up signs at an empty building. And some of them are ready to fight. Would gay people do that if Karl Rove were known to be speaking at the Hilton? Probably not, especially if it were on friday or Saturday night. God forbid. And how would Rove give that speech and return to his room, and go about his business without so much as a "fuck you asshole" from the left in his face? Because we don't care or because we aren't organized to recognize these people?

How is it possible that these people, today it's Bishop Jackson again in DC, walk the streets without so much as a peep from the gay people of Washington? Oh sure, press releases, and podium statements.

When yelling "faggot" in DC gets as swift and certain a response as yelling "nigger", then we as a community can say we are serious.

1. We need to be organized? We are. We have two houses of Congress and a President
that good enough?

4. And that's gotten us what, exactly?
We're going to get stuff when it's convenient for them, which means "when hell freezes over".
