Logo developing gay 'Housewives' show
A gay version of Bravo's Real Housewives franchise is in the works, it has been reported.

The tentatively titled Kept will air on MTV-owned all-gay channel Logo in 2010, Gawker reports.

The reality programme is to centre on a group of Manhattan-based 'party boys'. It is thought that True Entertainment, the company that produces Real Housewives, will helm the series as it previously sent out emails regarding casting over the summer.

An open-casting call will be held in New York City in a few weeks' time. Filming on the proposed project is expected to begin in November.

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak recently posed topless for the NoH8 campaign, which promotes awareness for overturning the ban of marriage between same-sex couples in California.

1. I hope they have trouble getting people to signup for the show. I won't watch
the Logo version either.

People embarrassing themselves on tv does not appeal to me.

2. Haha....cool. My partner watches RHofA.
He will love that. The whole genre of "manufactured reality" shows is annoying...as well as most TV.

(Except Top Chef, Chopped and anything Gordon Ramsay, World Rally recaps, Tour De France)

4. Great. Something else I can't see in HD, and with all the suggestive scenes taken out too.
LOGO. The gay PAX TV.:eyes:

LOGO HD. The only HD channel that's not really HD.

5. ugh
you can always depend on LOGO to do something 'groundbreaking.' just another program in the long list of gay stereotype centered programming by the 'friendly' gay media. I find all of this sickening. I can just see the show now, a bunch of beautiful white super thin, young twenty somethings, with great jobs and/or a trust fund, living the 'typical' Mannhatten socialite life, hell they may even throw in a black (yes meant to sound pejorative) to show a 'multi-cultural' feeling. If MTV execs would take their heads out of their ass and make decent programming the world would be a better place. I haven't watched LOGO since I've been out of the USA, but when I left it was all absolute garbage except for the few documentary type programs they would show. Please somebody tell me that they still aren't this way, that they have moved on to show true, actual honest portrayals of gay and lesbian people.

7. I'm sorry, but the creators of this show need to be shot.
In fact I'd support immediate either shooting or exile to Pluto for anyone at "True Entertainment" who's unable to prove they had no part in the development of "Real Housewives" and it's spin-offs.
