I am so sorry that the heterosexual community is often so full of shit and uncaring. I wish I could change them all and slap the living shit out of them all and wake them up. I do what I can.
I am so sorry that GLBT folks are denied their civil liberties and rights in this goddamned country. I am so sorry that I was allowed to get married and no one told me I couldnt.
I am so sorry that a whole swath of US citizens are told they are less than other US citizens.

I am a PFLAG member, I have a rainbow flag on my home, I have taken the issue to my small town city council to try and gain GLBT ordinance rights in this damned town to get protection for GLBT citizens here and am ignored.

I will keep fighting but I am so sorry. I will never get married again, no matter what, as a heterosexual, (I am a widow), but I will NEVER get married again in support of GLBT rights.

If you can tell me what more I can do, please let me know. I thank you for your advice in advance, and if anyone needs a grandmother or mom to support you, I am here.

Again, I am sorry that the heterosexual community are blind, so many of them.

You don't have to do any more than you've done and are doing. But please, don't swear off the idea of getting married. I think we all appreciate your passion on our behalf, but I doubt any of us would want you to limit yourself legally and financially by denying marriage just because WE are limited. That's not your fault, and you shouldn't have to suffer for it.
