Sinead's hand in marriage
Edited on Sun Jan-17-10 10:38 PM by Ms. Toad
Someone mentioned this ad to me today. I'd never seen it before, so I went looking for it.

(It was posted last September in political videos but didn't get much comment, so I'm sharing it here again)

Summary: Man goes door to door asking for Sinead's hand in marriage. Tag line after a dozen or so houses, "How would you feel if you had to ask 4 million people for permission to get married?" Put out by Ireland Marriage Equality.

1. This is a beautiful video.
Very direct and to the point. I just wish it had made more of a difference in Maine. :(

2. That actually made me laugh, in a good way.
:D I think that really nails it in a constructive way.
