I am singing tonight at the Raleigh HRC dinner
we are only singing one song and it is in a chorus but still it feels pretty cool. I already met Joe Solmonese and Eric Alva during our sound check. I'll let you know if I meet Clay Aiken or Merideth Baxter.

what's funny is mb was one of my first celebrity crushes - way back when. funny she turned out to be on the team.

7. We did well
I got to hear a bit of Joe and Eric on speakers outside the ballroom. It was kind of a day of book ends. On the way to the sound check I listened to part of the This American Life about the removal of homosexuality from the DMS manual by the APA. I was four when that happened. Then tonight, I saw the silent auction and was amazed to see amoung the items was a ball signed by the Carolina Panthers, our local NFL franchise. Kind of a difference to say the least.
