Time to move on...

Goodbye folks!

Keep up the good fight. I am canceling my account.

I've been here a long time and it has been fun...my life is changing and I am letting go of the things that keep me rooted in my gender role. DU and LeftHander is one of them...

So I bid you fairwell.

Evasporque - Strange I know. But Eva is my new female first name that I am legally changing to.

sporque is added for my online and my DJ/Electronica stuff...is a play on Spork the eating utensil that is between fork and spoon. Which happens to represent who I am. I am a non-op trans woman. So I am here in between genders and have settled in...

9. For different reasons, I am lately feeling that I also need to push DU away.

I have enjoyed the banter with like-minded people, but I have found this place to lately metamorphize into a quasi-unrecognizable libertarian message board, and that's not what I signed up for.

I am a liberal, in the traditional sense, not in the sense that 'anytime government intervenes into society's affairs, it's bad'. I just think I've grown beyond this place. I don't find the discussions all that challenging ("what would you have us do, just sit around and sing kumbaya?").

Then again, maybe I'll just take a break. I'm not sure exactly what I want to do anymore, but I'm definitely on hiatus for the moment. :hi: to all my friends here in the GLBT forum. :)
