Can we use Judge Walker's decision to quash DoMA?
Stands to reason one unconstitutional denial, can be used to weaken another.

2. That's the next step, really. We're going to have to see the
Prop 8 issue through the SCOTUS, though, before that can happen. The process is too damned slow, but that is the process. One more Obama SCOTUS appointment, in the interim, though, would certainly be a good thing.

As long as we don't run President Obama out of office and lose our Senate majority, there's a fair chance all of that will happen. Too bad so many seem determined to do both.

5. No offense but the only 'we' in this is the gay community.
The straight community is the source of the whole problem, and so of course, when their reps come over and begin a lecture, they will always be subject to close inspection. We don't have equal rights, you do. You are not us, not 'we'. You are they. And rather than lecture us, you should be attempting to educate your own, including the President. Clean your own house, that is where the stank is coming from. Just a thought.

no change, at least not to the left. You get 4 years to prove your value to the electorate, not 8. he must try harder as far as this voter is concerned

8. Right
Having Obama and a Senate majority hasn't done jack shit for us. So other than thinly veiled threats what do you have for us?

3. Hmmmm....I don't kow. The Military is NOT a democracy or
a republic. You effectively give up all your rights when you sign that line to enlist. I remember my son telling me that many years ago when he enlisted in the navy. He said I am now property of the US Military.

6. We already have Judge Tauro's.
They are importantly different in some respects, but complementary.
