I watched the Kids are All Right
Good film but I do have a question for the lesbians here. Is it common for lesbian couples to watch porn featuring gay males? I found that very odd.

2. Not that I found
Every Lesbian Couple I know liked Lesbian Porn. Or lesbian porn books. Or no porn at all.

3.  since you've broached the subject of that film
I found it somewhat troubling that the couple had such rigid and stereotypical "male" and "female" roles. Maybe it's just me, but as a gay man I really didn't like the movie much at all.

5. I felt that was problematic too
honestly I thought the movie was about middle of the pack. It was well acted and beautifully shot but I felt it wasn't the best written film.

6. It was a cheap screenwriting device
It's my suspicion the writer was concerned about the backlash the film would receive having one of the women embark on a sexual affair with a man . So they set the audience up with this meme that sexuality is fluid and sometimes lesbians enjoy experiencing sex externally, Ie via a penis , whether on screen or as it turned out , in the flesh. I didn't buy it. I think it would have been far more insightful if the Moore character had developed an emotional relationship with the sperm donor. It would have been more threatening and more interesting, but they went for what would seem funnier and easier for straight audience to handle.

Straight female here and what you wrote was exactly what I was thinking as the movie progressed.

8. I read somewhere one time that the act of
p*n*tration is important for all viewers of porn or readers of erotica. Even lesbians. Forget where I read that.
